The Credentialed Community Language (CCL) test is an assessment of your ability to interpret dialogues between English and a Language Other Than English (LOTE). Passing this test awards you 5 bonus points toward your Australian Skilled Migration visa (Subclass 189, 190, or 491).

The NAATI CCL exam is conducted entirely online via Microsoft Teams. Candidates can appear for the test from their home or any quiet location, provided they have a stable internet connection and meet NAATI’s proctoring requirements.

The test consists of two dialogues, each worth 45 marks. To pass, you must score at least 29 out of 45 in each dialogue and achieve an overall total score of at least 63 out of 90.

A successful NAATI CCL result is valid for 5 years from the date of issue. This gives candidates a significant window to claim their points and lodge their Expression of Interest (EOI) for Australian residency.
